The Peninsula New York announces winter premium spirits tastings at Clement Restaurant

This winter, Clement Restaurant at The Peninsula New York invites guests to experience three intimate premium spirits tastings, taking place at the restaurant’s communal table. Under the direction of Clement’s Director of Wine and Spirits, Jared Fischer and alongside brand ambassadors from Casa Dragones, Rhum Clément and Jade Absinthe, these exclusive experiences will delight guests with the flavors of world class destinations brought to the heart of Manhattan.

Friday, January 22: Casa Dragones, hosted by CEO Bertha Gonzáles Nieves
Kicking off the series on Friday, January 22, guests will sip experience one of the most internationally enjoyed tequilas, Casa Dragones. Hosted by Casa Dragones’ CEO, Bertha Gonzáles Nieves, the event will begin with a sampling of Casa Dragones Blanco featured in a welcome cocktail, followed by a tasting of the limited edition Casa Dragones Joven, a rare blend of silver tequila and extra aged tequila, rested in new American oak barrels for 5 years providing for a complex, smooth taste. A selection of light bites will also be paired with the tasting.

Friday, February 26: Rhum Clemént, hosted by Brand Manager, Will Schragis
On Friday, February 26, Rhum Clément will host an intimate group of guests who will be greeted by a welcome cocktail made with Rhum Clément Select Barrel, followed by tastings of the VSOP Rhum and Clément 10 Year Grande Reserve Rhum. Led by Will Schragis, Brand Manager of Clément USA, each tasting will be accompanied by a selection of light bites.

Friday, March 25: Jade Absinthe, hosted by Founder Ted Breaux
On Friday, March 25, guests can take part in a tasting of established portfolio of Absinthes crafted exclusively at the historic Combier distillery in Saumur, France. Hosted by professional chempst and founder of Jade Absinthe, Ted Breaux, guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail composed of Lucid, followed by a tasting of the Jade 1901, C.F. Berger and Espirit Edouard respectively. A selection of light bites will also be paired with the tasting.
