Mandarin Oriental, Geneva is offering guests a new pop-up restaurant, Le Chalet by Mandarin Oriental. Located within the hotel’s Café Calla restaurant, the specially designed, wooden chalet-style pop-up will serve authentic Swiss cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere from 16 November 2015 to 5 March 2016.
Cosy and inviting, the chalet will be a mountain-style winter retreat in the heart of city. A la carte specialties will include carefully selected delights from the local countryside, including Alpine cheeses, air-dried Grisons meat, rösti, Gruyère and Vacherin fondue, Zurich-style veal, and Meringue with Gruyère cream. Three-course menus priced from CHF 52 will be available too, and a selection of local beers and regional wines.
With rich wooden interiors and waiters dressed in traditional Swiss outfits, the chalet will be the perfect venue for unforgettable Christmas and winter parties, or year-end private events. With seating for up to 54 people, and a further 12 people in a private salon, the chalet is ideal for holiday gatherings and can be booked exclusively for lunch or dinner.
Le Chalet will be open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday, 12 pm to 2.30 pm, and 7 pm to 10.30 pm. Reservations recommended.
