Experience spectacular peruvian cuisine crafted by celebrity chef Eduardo Vargas at the Peninsula Bangkok

The Peninsula Bangkok is honoured to welcome celebrity chef Eduardo Vargas, who is flying all the way from Shanghai to treat diners to his spectacular dinner experiences for a limited time only, from 29 September – 2 October 2016.

Peru is famous throughout South America for its food. Fresh ingredients, especially fish, from a diverse ecosystem, innovative uses of traditional ingredients and the combination of complex flavours have brought Peruvian cuisine to the world’s attention. In recent years, Peru has come to be recognised as one of the world’s leading culinary destinations. This fall, The Peninsula Bangkok will proudly bring Peru’s highly regarded cuisine, created by celebrity chef Eduardo Vargas, to Bangkok and create a Peruvian culinary journey for sophisticated diners.

Known as the most famous Peruvian chef and restaurateur in Shanghai, Chef Eduardo will showcase his expertise in Peruvian cuisine for The Peninsula Bangkok’s guests with a five-course set dinner highlighting his signature dishes, including Lobster Ceviche with Citrus “Tiger’s milk”, Corn and Sweet Potato; Octopus with Potato Confit, Olive Sauce and Piquillo Chimichurri; Red Snapper with Peruvian Flavours, “Chupe” Sauce, Pea Puree and Peruvian Ravioli; and Beef Tenderloin Anticucho, Purple Potato, Huancaina and Enoki Mushroom Salsa. Jesters will open its doors again as a dining venue for this special Peruvian dinner experience. A five-course set dinner is available exclusively at Jetster from 29 – 30 September 2016 for THB 3,600++ per person for food only. Diners can pair beverages with five-course dinner for an additional THB 1,200++.

In addition, the dinner buffet at River Café & Terrace will feature a live station of Peruvian specialities prepared by Chef Eduardo for one night only on Saturday, 1 October 2016, for THB 1,800++ per person.

Sunday Brunch enthusiasts will also be able to experience Peruvian flavours, as Chef Eduardo will present a live station among a selection of signature Peninsula dishes and international specialities at Sundays at The Pen on Sunday, 2 October 2016 for 2,200++ per person.
