The three-night Six Senses Winter Escape includes a pampering visit to Six Senses Spa Douro Valley where both guests will enjoy a 60-minute Six Senses Signature Massage which includes the choice of Detox, Energizer, Deep Tissue or Holistic massage. The expansive Six Senses Spa measures over 2,200 square meters (24,000 square feet) and comprises 10 treatment rooms and heated in-door swimming pool with water jets and Vitality Suite with a steam room, Sauna and Laconium. Other facilities include a well-appointed gym housing the latest exercise equipment, aerial yoga and on-site personal trainers.

On the first evening of your stay, join our Wine Manager, Hélio Lima, in the Wine Library at 7:00 pm for a journey that will guide you through all the secrets of the Douro wines featuring more than 110 indigenous grape varieties, fabulous whites, reds and Ports and centuries old wineries producing world class wines. Our Chef Paulo Matos has selected local, regional Portuguese cheeses as well as some delicious Portuguese smoked meats and four different wines so that you can taste through all types of wines the Douro region has to offer.

Some fun and quirky activities are also available at Six Senses Douro Valley: Most of us have fond childhood memories of long lazy days spent scaling a tree, then a taller tree, racing our siblings or to pick a ripe red apple from the neighbour’s garden.
